Condition Report As per catalogue description both bowls have a most unusual exterior to the decoration/glaze, perhaps bad firing, although the interior of the larger example appears to be as intended. The small er example has an area of black staining under the glaze. Larger bowl with some small chips to and fritting to rim and a hairline with small chip. The dish with a small firing flaw to rim, some staining to glaze and glaze loss to rim. This is an auction of preowned and antique items. Many items are of an age or nature which precludes their being in perfect condition and you should expect general wear and tear commensurate with age and use. We strongly advise you to examine items before you bid. Condition reports are provided as a goodwill gesture and are our general assessment of damage and restoration.
