Gold leaf, iron powder, magnetic paint, ink on cardboard Napoleon often wore images of this insect as it was considered a symbol of immortality and resurrection. Hexagon - The hexagonal symbolism of the beehive contains the sacred number 6, which stands for balance and union. Double triangle - To the Greeks, the triangle is symbolic of a doorway and revisits the combination of polarities to push out a new opening. Each side and corner sings out a melody, and their combination in form creates a harmonic orchestration.

Mauro De Giorgi was born in Turin, Italy in 1972, graduating in Sociology and Communication with a thesis on new Italian cinema in 1996. He has been involved in a variety of projects throughout his career including painting, digital art and live performances due to his passion for art, poetry and music from a young age. As well as being an international artist, he has worked as a creative and brand specialist for various advertising agencies before founding his own successful agency over a decade ago.
