A copper engraved map of India titled " L'Empire du Mogol et la presqu'isle de l'Inde". From "Atlas de toutes le parties connues de Globe " prepared by Rigobert Bonne (1727-1795), a French cartographer appointed in 1773 by the King Louis XV to succeed J.N.Bellin. He prepared a large collection of maps for several publishers without decorative cartouche so common in the 18th century however much appreciated for details of the newly discovered regions of the World. Presented in a gold-colour wooden frame.
