Mid-late 20th Century, Comprising: a twin handled vase, decorated with eight horses beneath trees in a continuous river landscape, within blue borders, bears a Qianlong mark to base; and a small bottle vase decorated with a portrait of Emperor Qianlong on horseback, after the painting by Giuseppe Castiglione, inscribed to the reverse, bears four character Qianlong Yuzhi mark to base, (large repaired section to body)

Condition Report The smaller vase with a large re-glued section of the body at the tree branches, the glue residue on the exterior is quite visible. One or two losses to enamels on the Emperors armour. The larger example with some tape stuck to the rim, generally appears in good condition. This is an auction of preowned and antique items.
