SINGAPORE, 5 August 2026 – A silver Montblanc Meisterstück fountain pen once owned by Lee Kuan Yew, Singapore's founding Prime Minister, is back on the auction block, headlining Hotlotz's next sale, Interiors & Collectibles - August, Fine Art Focus. Engraved "SM Lee Kuan Yew" from his years as Senior Minister, the pen was previously sold at "The Lee Kuan Yew Family Collection" charity auction in July 2003.
Joining the sale are three of Singapore's most significant painters. Chua Mia Tee's "Singapore Chinatown," a work by the late master of social realism, Chen Wen Hsi's "Gibbons" and two ink works by centenarian master Lim Tze Peng, "Unabating" and "Dragon." A stoneware pot by Cultural Medallion recipient Iskandar Jalil is also among the highlights.
Other notable inclusions include works by Ong Kim Seng, Henri Chen KeZhan, Choo Keng Kwan, Takashi Murakami, Hong Zhu An, and Lei Han.
